£50million Award for Imtech Process JV
Imtech Process is delighted to announce that it has been appointed as preferred bidder for the Wing Water Treatment Works, as part of its Joint Venture with Galliford Try (GTM)
This is Anglian Water’s largest single capital project for AMP4.
The project, which will cost in the region of £50 million, comprises design, construction and commissioning of a standalone 90 Ml/d extension to the existing Water Treatment Works at Wing which represents an increase in throughput of 30% and serves approximately 1 million people in the Peterborough, Corby, Northampton and Kettering areas. The project also includes construction of major pumping stations at Empingham and Beanfield.
The project team, which includes Mott McDonald as Client Engineer and Earthtech as GTM JV’s specialist process design subcontractor, will deliver the scheme by December 2009 following construction commencement in January 2008.
