East Midlands Regional Apprentice of the Year 2007

As regional finalist, Joe won £50 and was presented with an Award to commemorate his achievement.

JTL's national awards have been running for 13 years.  This year, the awards have been redesigned to incorporate the four key elements of the training framework - practical, theory, key skills and industry test scores - now necessary for apprentices from any industry to become fully qualified.  The revamped awards also reflect JTL's increased regional focus, aimed at providing further support to its 9,700 apprentices and 3,500 employers.

Commenting on the award, Denis Hird, Chief Executive of JTL says: "We are thrilled to be able to honour and award apprentices that demonstrate a real enthusiasm and commitment to learning in their chosen fields.

"At JTL we are proud of all our apprentices, but their success would not be possible without the many local employers in the East Midlands that work with our Apprentices to train them up.  Their ongoing dedication is crucial both to their success of apprentices and JTL."
