Gouda, The Netherlands – Imtech N.V. (technical services provider in Europe) announces the appointment of Willem Vermeend (58) as a member of the Supervisory Board of Imtech N.V. as of 10 April 2007.

Mr. Vermeend has the Dutch nationality and does not hold any shares in the company. The appointment is in the interest of the company due to his financial and fiscal expertise and experience in the field of social developments, information technology and international enterprises. Mr. Vermeend will –beside Mrs. De Boer– act as contact person (‘vertrouwenscommissaris’) for the representative bodies.

The appointment of Mr. Vermeend arises from the resignation of Bert de Vries because of reaching the maximum term of service of 12 years.

As of 11 April 2007 the Supervisory Board will consist of the following persons:
