A group of 50 Imtech employees will be measuring their energy consumption at home in a trial. They are given an 'intelligent device' that indicates exactly how much electricity they are using. This pilot marks the launch of the 'ICARUS programme' as a new part of the Imtech policy on Corporate Social Responsibility. 'Imtech focuses strongly on the sustainable use of every resource the Earth provides', said Hendrik Smeenk when announcing the ICARUS programme. 'It is one of Imtech’s activities to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emission by Imtech employees.'
