We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Harry Siertsema MSc. (51), Managing Director of the Imtech Marine Group and member of the Executive Council Imtech N.V.

Harry worked with Imtech for almost 14 years in total. He started his career at Imtech in 1981 and after a career switch to Honeywell he was appointed Director of the business unit Services of Imtech Marine & Offshore on 1 May 2002. His appointment as Managing Director of the Imtech Marine & Offshore followed on 1 March 2006. As from 2008 Harry became responsible for the Imtech Marine Group, the global group of maritime companies within Imtech. With full energy he was always dedicated to maximize the full potential and added value of international maritime co-operation within Imtech – to the very end.

Bridge builder in the maritime market, inspiring leader, innovative thinker, the ultimate co-operator, a sympathetic colleague and very good listener…
