Imtech Marine Shanghai is located on the South Side of Shanghai (Nanhui Industrial Zone) and produces LV switchboards and bridge consoles in its’ almost 5.000 square meter factory. Combined with state of the art services, such as commissioning and after sales services in navigation, communication and electrical power, Imtech Marine Shanghai is a key player on the Chinese Marine Market.

Already 25 years ago Imtech Marine Germany (previously known as HDW-Hagenuk Schiffstechnik, a member of the Imtech Marine Group - started its’ operations in China. Since then over 800 shipsets (cargo-vessels) have been sold to Chinese shipyards, mainly for German shipowners.

The Chinese Shipbuilding market has targeted 2015 to become the worlds biggest shipbuilding market.

Imtech Marine & Offshore Netherlands is executing projects on various Chinese Shipyards as well, such as Pipe-Laying vessels, Dredging vessels and Heavy Load vessels. The production of main switchboards, emergency switchboards, bridge consoles, distribution panels is done in Shanghai at the Imtech Marine Shanghai production facilities in Nanhui Industrial Zone.

The Imtech Marine Shanghai quality standard is identical to the European quality standard. Furthermore the commissioning at the Chinese Shipyards is executed by the Imtech Marine Shanghai service team.
A good cooperation between Imtech Marine Shanghai and Radio Holland Shanghai – another member of the Imtech Marine Group - has been established over the past years. Both offices are located in Shanghai, with multiple site-offices and service centres all over China (e.g. Zhoushan, Nantong, Guangzhou, Dalian, Tianjin)
