As a dominant player in the international maritime market Imtech saw it as a matter of course at the end of the last century to go ashore in China. The Chinese market has grown more strongly and has showed its more ambitions than any other shipbuilding markets. China aspires to be the largest shipbuilding country in the world by 2015. As a system integrator providing tailor-made solutions we are dedicated to deliver electrical automation, Integrated Bridge system, E-propulsion and DP systems on dredgers, offshore vessels, special ships and any other high value added ships. From the headquarters in Rotterdam Imtech offers best solutions and services by uniting its competence centre in Germany. Therefore our production facility and commission team in China assure clients of our competitive prices and effective communications. Moreover our local representative further strengthens and widens our network and contacts with shipyards, design companies as well as local end users. In the past 25 years Imtech/Imtech Marine Germany delivered electrical equipement for over 700 ships on the Chinese shipbuilding market.
